All tests are conducted offline within school campuses, ensuring a secure and familiar environment. Extra Curricular Tests (for Std. 1-12)
For students of Std. 1-3 (Sub-Junior Category) we conducted the Mini GK Test on on 13th August 2025, and the Mini IT & AI Test on 22nd August 2025.
For student of Std. 4-12, our extracurricular tests included the UN Information Test conducted on 8th August 2025, the General Knowledge Test held on 13th August 2025, and the IT & AI Test conducted on 22nd August 2025.

Our Tests
Our tests offer two thoughtfully designed categories of tests to support student learning: Curricular Tests for Std. 1–5 that reinforce academic fundamentals, and Extra-Curricular Tests for Std. 1-12 that go beyond the classroom to build awareness. Each test is structured to match the learning level of the student and aims to instill confidence through meaningful engagement. To help students prepare effectively, comprehensive study material is provided. These resources are developed with clarity and care to ensure an enriching and age-appropriate learning experience for all participants
Curricular Tests

Std 1 – 5
In curricular tests for Std. 1-5, our subjects are: Mental Math & English Skills.
- Practice tests are provided as study material for the Mental Math tests.
- Study material is provided for the English Skills test.
- The question paper shall be of MCQ-style.
- Std. 1, 2, 3: Standard-wise study material & question paper. Answers to be marked on the question paper (tick-mark).
- Std. 4 & 5: Same study material and same question paper with OMR answer sheet.
Std 1 – 3
In extra-curricular tests for Std. 1-3, our subjects are: Mini GK & Mini IT & AI.
- Study material is provided for both tests.
- Same study material for Std. 1, 2, 3.
- The question paper shall be of MCQ-style.
- Separate question paper for Std. 1, 2, 3 with tick-mark option on the question paper.
Std 4 – 12
In extra-curricular tests for Std. 4-12, our tests are: UN Information, GK and IT & AI.
- The categories are: Junior: Std. 4, 5, 6; Pre-Senior: Std. 7, 8, 9; Senior: Std. 10, 11, 12
- The study material provided is based on the category.
- The test will be in the form of MCQ-style question paper.
- Separate question paper per category with OMR answer sheet.
What We Assess
Our assessments cover a wide range of subjects to support both academic and extra-curricular growth. From English, Mental Math, to General Knowledge, UN Information, and IT & AI, each subject is carefully chosen to build essential skills. We also include areas that encourage awareness, logic, and creativity. The syllabus for each subject is thoughtfully prepared, keeping in mind the class level and learning objectives.

This section brings you a complete overview of the USO National Tests – from who can participate and how the tests are conducted, to the outstanding achievements of our students. It also highlights the exciting rewards and special gifts extended to participating schools. Whether you are a principal, teacher, or school coordinator, this column is your go-to guide to stay informed, updated, and inspired by the impact of the USO National Tests.
USO National Tests are open to all schools across India — including private, public, and government schools from all educational boards. Students from Classes 1 to 12 are eligible to participate.
To facilitate smooth coordination and ensure mutual benefit, each school is required to enroll a minimum of 100 students per test for participation in the national-level assessments.
To support schools in organizing and administering the USO National Tests, a reimbursement structure has been put in place to cover basic coordination and administrative expenses.
- Schools may retain ₹20 per student for registrations collected directly by the school.
- Schools shall be reimbursed @ ₹10 per student for registrations completed online by students.
- Additionally, USO Member Schools will receive an extra ₹5 per student if the total number of participants exceeds 500 students.
USO National Tests include both curricular and extra-curricular subjects for students from Std 1 to 12. Study materials are provided, and all tests follow the MCQ format. Answer formats vary by grade for easy participation.
Curricular tests are offered for Std. 1 to 5: The USO National Tests are designed to support student learning with accessible and age-appropriate formats. For Mental Math, students receive dedicated practice tests to enhance speed and accuracy. For English Skills, a study book is provided to aid in preparation. All assessments are conducted through multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Students in Standards 1 to 3 mark their answers directly on the question paper, while those in Standards 4 and 5 use OMR sheets for answering, introducing them to a more structured testing format.
Extra-curricular tests are offered for students of Std. 1- 12.
For Std. 1 to 3: The Mini GK and Mini IT & AI tests are specially designed for young learners to introduce them to general knowledge and basic concepts in technology and artificial intelligence. A single common study book is provided for all three participating classes to ensure consistency and ease of preparation. The assessments are conducted using multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and students are required to mark their answers directly on the question paper, making the process simple and age-appropriate.
For Std. 4 to 12: The UN Information Test, GK Test, and IT & AI Test are designed to build awareness, critical thinking, and future-readiness among students. To ensure age-appropriate content and effective preparation, study books are provided according to the student category: Junior (Classes 4–6), Pre-Senior (Classes 7–9), and Senior (Classes 10–12). Each category receives a separate MCQ-based question paper tailored to their level. All students in these groups are required to mark their responses on OMR sheets, offering them exposure to standardized test formats.

- Certificate of Merit and Medal for student scores of 90%+.
- Participation Certificates for student scores of 33% – 89%.

Teacher Coordinators are rewarded at all levels:
- 500–999 students: Teacher Coordinator receives USO goodies.
- 1,000–1,499 students: Teacher Coordinator receives USO goodies.
- 1,500+ students: Teacher Coordinator receives USO goodies.
School Principals are honoured across all categories:
- 500–999 students: Principal receives USO goodies.
- 1,000–1,499 students: Principal receives USO goodies.

For High Student Participation:
- 1,000–1,499 students: School receives a colour printer.
- 1,500+ students: School receives a portable projector.

Registration & Student Data Submission
To simplify the registration process, schools can download and fill out a pre-formatted student template. This Excel-based form allows bulk entry of student information, making it easier to upload all participating students at once. The USO National Tests are a series of offline assessments in both curricular and extra-curricular subjects, designed for students from Std. 1 to 12, and conducted within school campuses.
Students from Standard 1 to 12 studying in schools across India are eligible to participate, provided their school has registered for the tests.
The curricular subjects include Mental Math and English Skills. These are offered to students in Std. 1-5.
The extra-curricular subjects include Mini GK and Mini IT & AI for students of Std. 1-3. The UN Information, GK, and IT & AI Tests are for students in Std. 4-12.
The tests consist of multiple-choice questions. Students of Std. 1-3 shall answer on the question paper itself; Students of Std. 4-12 shall be provided with OMR answer sheets.
Students of Std. 4-12 are grouped into three categories:

Only if their school has registered and confirmed test conduction on campus. A separate student registration form must then be filled.
Yes. Study material is shared with schools after registration. Materials are prepared to suit the age and level of the participating students. E-copies or printed versions of the study material can be provided to the student.
This fee includes not only the test but also the tools and guidance needed to study effectively and perform with confidence.
