The USO Inter-Schools Fest 2026 will bring together schools from Pilani, Rajasthan and surrounding areas for an exhilarating day of talent and intellect. This vibrant event is more than just a festival, it is a dynamic showcase where students will compete in various activities centered around the critical theme of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
It offers a unique platform for students to unleash their creativity, innovation, and knowledge while tackling important global challenges.
For the first time at
Birla Balika Vidyapeeth has its genesis as the Girls’ boarding school in 1941, a humble philanthropic mission to educate the girls of the freedom fighters. It began with just about 40 students and 5 teachers helmed under the visionary Leadership and acumen of Smt. Devaki Amma.
In 1952, Birla Balika Vidyapeeth became a member of the elite IPSC group. Thus began a journey of experiential learning, specializing in education for girls. BBV sets precedent for tomorrow’s benchmarks in Indian school education world. We, Vidyapeethians, handle our crystal reputation with panache and great humility.
The School has its unique distinction of being a progressive institution of learning, imparting Quality Education deeply rooted in Indian cultural ethos and values with its myriad co-curricular activities viz. NCC Band, Sports, Athletics, Classical Indian Dances, Art, Music, Home Sciences. The School since its inception blazed new trails of excellence in consonance with the changing educational scenario and national aspirations as well.

USO’s Inter-Schools Fests have been graced by former Prime Ministers, former Presidents, high-ranking government officials, UN dignatories and many others as Chief Guests, Guests of Honour, or invited guests. Several guests also attended as young students, while at school in various parts of India!

Registration Form
Pre-registration is essential for all schools planning to participate in the USO Inter-Schools Fest, Pilani, Rajasthan. The online form requires basic information, including the number of teachers and students attending the fest. The detailed list of participants can be submitted later using the provided template. You can download the template, complete it, and send it via email to conference@usoindia.org or info@usoindia.org. Alternatively, the list can be submitted at the time of registration. Payment can be made through the link provided in the form below.

The USO Inter-Schools Fest at Pilani, Rajasthan aims to bring together various schools in and around Pilani to interact with each other while competing in various competitions. The fest is divided into individual and group competitions. Since all the competitions will take place simultaneously, each student can only take part in one competition.
Individual Competitions: There are 3 individual competitions that shall be conducted as part of the fest.
- On-The-Spot Painting Competition
- Speech Competition
- Debate Competition
Group Competitions: There are 3 group competitions in which max. 5 students from each school can participate.
- Group Dance Competition
- Drama Competition
- All-day Science Fair
The main purpose of organising such an event is to help students gain confidence in a protected environment. Additionally, all teachers and students shall find a peer network to interact with.
This event is instrumental in promoting valuable ideals such as ‘National Integration’, ‘Peace’, ‘Tolerance’, ‘We Are All Equal’, and so much more. Not only will all delegates create a network, but they will also benefit greatly by increasing awareness by interacting with the various participants nationally. This shall greatly assist in moving closer to ‘Global Citizenship’.
The USO Inter Schools Fest 2026 at Pilani, Rajasthan shall be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 8 AM onwards.
The USO Inter Schools Fest shall be held at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani, Rajasthan.
Schools may send their delegation of students and teachers as follows:
- Students of Std. 6-12 (Maximum of 15 students per school)
- Teachers (Max. of 2 teachers per school)
The global theme for this year is SDG 4: ‘Quality Education’. Competition topics shall be based on this theme, as applicable. Detailed topics are listed as part of the rules.

The list of delegates (teachers and students) is also required by USO. This can be provided on the day of the USO Inter Schools Fest. (Click Here to download the excel template for delegates details)
The registration fees from schools are as follows:
₹750 (per school)
(includes 1 year USO membership valid till 31 Mar, 2027)
There is no fee from students or teachers.
The registration fee includes participation in all competitions and refreshments as provided, for all delegates (Registered teachers and students).
The registration fee does not include any reimbursement or travel allowance.
Yes, all participating students shall receive a Certificate of Participation.
The prize winners shall be awarded trophies and a Certificate of Achievement.
Each participating school shall receive a Plaque of Appreciation, and the accompanying teachers shall receive a Certificate of Appreciation.
