USO Chennai Inter Schools Fest was held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at RMK Senior Secondary School, Thiruverkkadu, Chennai. 10 nearby schools attended this event with their students from UKG – Std. 12. All students were divided into categories based on their Std, and different competitions were held for each category.
Held under the aegis of USO’s 60th General Conference & All-India Schools Festival.
Our theme for 2022 SDG 5: Gender Equality as our global theme. All competitions / discussions revolved around Gender Equality or Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, to commemorate 75 years of Indian independence.

The USO Chennai Inter Schools Fest is organised by USO specifically for schools located in / around Chennai. It is a not only a great event for schools to interact with each other, but also for the teachers and students from nearby schools to gain exposure by attending the various competitions.
The USO Chennai Inter Schools Fest is being conducted under the aegis of USO’s flagship event – the 60th General Conference & All-India Schools Festival. The main purpose of organising such an event is to help students gain confidence in a protected environment.
The USO Chennai Inter Schools Fest shall be conducted on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 7 am – 4 pm.
The Fest shall be conducted at RMK Senior Secondary School, Thiruverkkadu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Schools may send their delegation of teachers and students. Student shall be divided into various categories based on their standard for the competitions.
School to fill the online registration form which includes payment link. Student registration for individual competitions can be done on the spot.
Registration fees are Rs. 250 per school. No other fee or charge from individual teachers or students shall be collected.
USO’s global theme for this year is ‘Gender Equality’. Given that India is celebrating 75 years of independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is also a topic in some competitions.

All students shall be issued Participation Cerficates. Winners shall receive Trophies as well.
In addition to Fest-related articles, snack box containing a juice box and biscuits shall also be provided.
